Today, Channel One devoted their entire show to a new documentary film called Two Million Minutes.
The film gets its title from the fact that when a student starts high school there are a little over 2,000,000 minutes in that four-year period before graduation. The question is how are American students going to use that time. The film makes a big point that American schools spend too much time on athletics.
The film compares the lives of two American high school students with the lives of two Indian and two Chinese students. The point: students in other countries study more than American students. As the press release says, " (the) priorities of students in the United States don
