Alloy Uses Channel One News To Get Kids To Watch Gossip Girl

September 3, 2009

Teens and preteens forced to watch Channel One News know about Teen.com, Gossip Girl, and probably what "OMFG" stands for.
Ask your principal if your child’s school still has Channel One News. No school that cares about maximizing learning time shows commercials to students.

The Parents Television Council knows how sleazy Alloy’s Gossip Girl TV show is, but parents don’t know how Channel One News – owned by Alloy – is promoting this filth in America’s classrooms. Channel One News is now urging all its captive audience (down to 10-year-olds) to go to Teen.com where Gossip Girl and other sexually provocative and alcohol-drenched entertainment is relentlessly promoted.
