Mario vs. Donkey Kong

It is strange to think of school teachers sitting at their desks as Channel One’s specially selected commercials play on the classroom TV.

If taxpayers fully knew the amount of school time that is being wasted showing Channel One commercials, there would be a lot school administrators out of work.

Does Nintendo really need U.S. taxpayers subsiding their marketing efforts to sell more video games and handheld game units? Do professional educators and administrators truly understand that taxpayers paid for every second of school time?  And that they intended their money to be used to educate students, and not to help enrich Nintendo?
