From Jim Metrock: Students at Declo High (Declo, Idaho) can watch Channel One News everyday… if they stay after school.
This is a violation of Channel One’s contract but both parties, the school and Channel One, don’t appear to be concerned about it. Channel One can’t strong arm the school to show the program during the school day because they know the school would just say, “Get your old TVs and get out of our school.”
Declo High would be wise to formally, legally end their contract than to continue to openly breach the contract.
Any guesses how many students at Declo choose to stay after the ending school bell to watch this goofy TV show? Yeah, that’s what I thought too.
