Since 1997, I have been writing articles about Channel One’s commercial exploitation of schoolchildren. They are all here.
The main reason I wrote was to help educators, administrators, school board members, other parents, and young people themselves in their efforts to remove Channel One from their classrooms. I hope my writing has had some role in the almost complete collapse of Channel One News.
Yet another reason I wrote was to create an historical record of what Channel One News was, and what they did to schoolchildren. I wanted to provide information to those in the future, living long after “Channel One News” has become nothing more than a punchline to a bad joke, so they could make sure nothing like Channel One ever slithers its way into classrooms again.
I will be posting a great amount of articles, photographs, Channel One sales literature, and other documents that may not be timely, but they do represent a piece of Channel One’s infamous history. I will call these PDFs, videos, and photographs “From the Archives.”
It’s time.
