From Jim Metrock: Channel One thought that they could quickly and painlessly remove millions of dollars of equipment disposal fees from their balance sheet (before they were acquired by Houghton Mifflin) by dumping the disposal costs onto American schools. Channel One might get away with it, but let’s hope they don’t. What did Houghton Mifflin know and when did they know it?
