From Jim Metrock:
This is a screen shot of Skoollive’s Twitter page taken today November 10.
After three years on Twitter and after extensive regional and national marketing efforts, the company has managed to accumulate 91 followers (and two of those are Obligation and the Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood). Having only 16 “likes” has to be a bit demoralizing too.
However what is more interesting is the lack of tweets coming from this upstart marketing company. Twitter is an important tool for today’s marketing firms, yet Skoollive hasn’t published a tweet since September 18 – almost two months of Twitter silence. I don’t know what that means. I imagine once Skoollive’s people read this article they will once again start pumping out generic tweets if only to make their company look like they have a pulse.
