From Jim Metrock: Skoollive is still afloat! The company has been quietly rebranding itself as “the first nationwide, on-campus digital network.” No joke. That’s what they are calling themselves now.
They have changed their website (www.skoollive.com) but they still have the same product and business model that so underwhelmed American schools in 2014.
But who knows? Maybe calling their electronic billboards a “digital network” might fool some inexperienced school principal somewhere, but I doubt it. The public now knows too much about Skoollive.
Here’s a news flash for the marketing gurus at Skoollive: Schools are in various degrees already firmly in the Digital Age. They don’t need any assistance from a bunch of billboard salesmen.
