Promethean’s partnership with Channel One is proving to be an unmitigated disaster. Promethean has to take responsibility for exposing 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders to the toxic Channel One News brand. Elementary schoolchildren who are compelled to watch Channel One News InterActiv Jr. on their Promethean white boards will want to check out Channel One on the web when they have an opportunity or permission.
Parents will be confused thinking Channel One News MUST be OK or why else would the elementary school be showing it in school? They have no idea the cultural rot Channel One News will dump on their children. Foul music: Crashing Broadway; Violent, scary horror movies: The Possession and The House at the End of the Street; movies that normalize teen sex, teen drinking and teen drug use: The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
