Channel One’s lovefest for vile rapper Lil Wayne didn’t impress parents.

We understand Barb’s complaint. Channel One News laid it on thick with their promotional story on rapper Lil Wayne. Any child watching Channel One, who didn’t know better, would have come away thinking Lil Wayne was a saint.
We are however perplexed by Lisa’s post on Channel One’s comment section. Did Channel One News really air political ads? Since Channel One has gone to a ad-blackout for parents and the public, we don’t know what they are advertising to students in their two commercial blocks each day. It is against Channel One’s own “news standards” to air any political advertisement. But they have violated their standards numerous times before.
