Buckcherry’s lead singer Josh Todd probably can’t believe school districts are intentionally playing his music on school buses.
This picture is taken off Busradio.com. The company says music played on the website is played on buses. The music on the website can be heard by elementary school students, so BusRadio can’t say they didn’t play Buckcherry for the youngest children.
From Jim Metrock:
Obligation has discovered BusRadio has added the raunchy group Buckcherry to their school bus playlist.
Buckcherry is raw. They will be on the Motley Crue tour this summer, if that gives you any indication of their music.
The song “Sorry” is of course clean. BusRadio executives think that is the end of the story, which of course is utter nonsense. No adult who cared a whit about children would EVER – repeat – EVER allow ANY song by this sleazy group to be played on a school bus.
“Sorry” is from the CD “15.” Nothing offensive here.

Oh I had alot to say Was thinking on my time away I miss you and things weren’t the same ‘Cause everything inside it never comes out right And when I see you cry it makes me wanna die. I’m sorry i’m bad, i’m sorry i’m blue This time I think i’m to blame I’m sorry i’m bad, i’m sorry i’m blue Every single day I think about how we came all this way I’m sorry i’m bad, i’m sorry i’m blue |
The song right after “Sorry” on the CD is called “Crazy Bitch.”

All right!
Break me down, you got a lovely face Hey Hey Take it ALL, the paper is your game Hey Hey Get the video Crazy bitch Hey Hey Baby girl Hey Hey You’re crazy |
There are worse songs by this group. I’m not kidding. Their big hit before this BusRadio plugged CD was “Porno Star”from the CD “Time Bomb.”
Another example of a Buckcherry song ” |

On September 11, 2006, A lawsuit has been filed against the band, their current record label and other related companies on behalf of a 16 year old girl who claims she was coerced into appearing topless and in various sexual scenarios at a concert while the band was playing a sexually-related song. According to sources, however, all participants in the video had to show proof that they were over 18 years old and sign a release form further reaffirming their age. Band attorney Skip Miller is quoted in several news stories as stating, “This woman filled out a release form with false information. And once it was determined this woman was underage, the video was removed.” |
Why would BusRadio’s “content board” approve the airplay of anything by this band? The two BusRadio DJs, Matthew xxxxxx and Lucia xxxxxxx, have to know how awful this group is.
I think we are going to see more school districts ending their experiments with BusRadio.
