People tend to laugh as they read the list of things Channel One WILL NOT advertise. Above are the first six things on that list taken form their official Terms and Conditions. It is funny because Channel One has always referred to this list to show how much they care for young people. Oh, thank you Channel One for agreeing not to advertise firearms to children during their class time. How dumb can a company be? No caring adult would ever think about advertising these products and services to young people.
Well, at least we thought that, up until today when it was discovered that Channel One’s website was providing teens and preteens links to organizations that will provide them information on how to obtain birth control and how to secure an abortion.
Above is a new page on Channelone.com, Channel One News’ website for young people ages 10 to 18. Channel One is covering all bases by listing organizations that try to talk young people out of getting an abortion, but the big news here is they are funneling young women to Planned Parenthood.
At Planned Parenthood’s site young people can take a quiz that helps them determine which birth control method is right for them.
Planned Parenthood doesn’t care how old you are and they don’t care about involving parents. Here a sample question from their quiz:
