From Jim Metrock: I have watched Channel One News since 1996 and I have never heard anybody on the show ever wish students a “Merry Christmas” or make any mention that Christmas is an important religious holiday in America. This year it is same. Channel One News signed off for the year without a mention of Christmas. One would think after a year of keeping middle schoolers constantly up-to-day on LGBT issues, Channel One News would devote a few seconds to Christmas. I’m definitely not putting any of the kiddie marketers at Channel One on my “nice” list.
