Channel One News was born with the help of money-grabbing
politicians (example: Lamar Alexander) and it continues today by
paying elected officials (example: the majority of Alabama state
board of education members have received money from Channel One’s
lobbyist Martin Christie).
Channel One’s army of lobbyists had a general -Jack
Abramoff. We at Obligation have always called him "Casino
Jack." Abramoff had only a handful of big clients: Indian
tribes who needed his help with developing and maintaining casinos
and Channel One News who needed his help to quash any effort to
do something about Channel One’s rape of taxpayers.
Abramoff was indicted last week over a matter that
involved casinos in Florida. He is in other trouble too.
The indictment means that Channel One will probably
never utilize the services of its greatest champion. Losing Abramoff
has to be rough on Channel One. They are now using the Ballabon
Group to do its governmental influencing work. This "Group" consists
of one man Jeff Ballabon.

He irritates people as much as he charms them. As Channel One’s
lobbying efforts flounder, the company will sink further beneath
the waves."
