You may have seen this bizarre commercial on your home TV. A man’s wife says it is OK for her to overeat at dinner because she had a Subway sandwich for lunch. It is OK to be bad, if you had a Subway. The man is seen the next day washing his car in a cheerleader’s outfit. He is waving pompoms. His wife is in shock. The next door neighbor is shown videotaping the crossdresser. The punchline is that it is OK for the man to dress in women’s clothing (it is OK to be bad) because he had a Subway.
Subway was given permission by Channel One News to run this ad several times not only in high schools under contract to Channel One, but also all in middle schools.
